Wat doet StudySlim met je kind?
StudySlim is a study coach in the browser. Your child sends an exercise they are stuck on and works it out step by step. No handing out answers, real understanding instead.
What it is
- Explanations for every subject, in small steps, also from a photo of the workbook.
- A test planner that plans around the timetable, with breaks and a bedtime.
- A focus timer and an exam week mode without distractions.
- StudySlim is an AI. We tell your child that too.
Safety
- Under 16 the community is off, unless you or the school give consent. Studying works as normal.
- Accounts of 16 and 17 year olds are private by default. Adults they do not follow cannot message them.
- Photos and videos are checked before others can see them.
- Messages are checked automatically for serious risks, such as self-harm, violence or abuse. If there is a signal, a safety officer takes a look and help can be called in.
- In "Just talk" your child can get things off their chest. It is not therapy: StudySlim listens and points the way to real help, such as 113 or De Kindertelefoon.
Privacy
- What your child asks and writes belongs to your child. We do not read along, and neither do you or the school.
- Only with a serious safety risk can a small excerpt be viewed, and that is logged.
- Data is stored in the European Union. We never sell data and there are no ads.
- Downloading everything or deleting the account can be done under Account.
Cost and cancelling
There is a free version with a few questions per day. The subscription costs € 19,99 per month incl. VAT (€ 16,52 excl. VAT).
You can cancel every month with one click under Subscription. Nothing is charged after that.
Through school? Then the school arranges the subscription and you pay nothing.
