Terms and conditions

These terms apply to StudySlim, a service of Netslim, Terveurdtweg 119, 6431 VT Hoensbroek, Nederland, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 73638463, VAT ID -. Questions? Email info@studyslim.com or call or message +31 85 369 5993.

1. What StudySlim is

StudySlim is an online study environment. You ask questions about your subjects, send photos of exercises or your own worked answers, make a test planner and a weekly timetable, record lessons and can join the community. Explanations are partly generated automatically with the help of AI. They can contain mistakes. Check important answers, especially right before a test.

2. Account

You create an account with your own email address. You keep your password secret and do not share your account. An account is personal: you can be logged in on at most two devices at the same time. If you are under 16, you use StudySlim with permission from a parent or guardian; the community is off for you unless a parent or guardian gives consent.

3. Subscription and price

The StudySlim subscription costs € 19,99 per month including 21% VAT (€ 16,52 excluding VAT). You pay in advance at the start of each one-month period. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance by email; you can then cancel free of charge.

One-off purchases are not a subscription: keeping recordings 3 months longer (€ 2,00 per recording) and an extra pack (€ 5,00).

4. Trial and invitations

With an invitation or friend link you can try StudySlim free for 7 days. This is possible once per person, email address, device and bank account. After the trial the free access ends, unless you take a subscription or gave a mandate when starting the trial; if you cancel that before the trial ends, you pay nothing.

5. Fair use

StudySlim is meant for your own studies. To keep it affordable, reasonable monthly use applies. If you use a very large amount in a month, explanations continue in quick mode and a daily limit applies to photo grading. Learning always remains possible. Automated or bulk use, reselling or sharing your account is not allowed.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel every month with one button in your account (Subscription). After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing is charged after that. See also Cancelling.

7. Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day cooling-off period. Because StudySlim is a digital service that starts right away, we ask at checkout whether you want us to start immediately. See the page Withdrawal and refunds.

8. Community

In the community you follow the community rules. What you post remains yours. You allow StudySlim to show it to the people who may see it under your settings, and to review it (moderation). We may refuse or remove content and restrict or block an account if the rules are broken.

9. Recordings

Only record lessons when you have permission. Recordings are for yourself only and are kept for at most 3 months unless you extend.

10. Liability

We do our best to make StudySlim work well and safely, but cannot promise it always works without interruption or that every explanation is correct. We are not liable for a test result. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last three months, except in case of intent or gross negligence.

11. Complaints

Email complaints to info@studyslim.com. We reply within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can use the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

12. Law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Version 2026-11.
